Our Beginning

The Stolberg group of companies began operation in 1947. Over the next thirty years we provided an organized construction service to the sawmill and plywood industry in western Canada. We built most of the original mills in B.C. and Alberta for nearly all of the major forest products companies.

1970 - 1990 Click here to see more.	Stolberg Engineering Ltd. was formed in 1980 to complement the construction services we previously offered our clients. For the next ten years we provided a complete design-build service to our clients. The cost control and project management systems we developed initially to manage the various construction phases of a project evolved into total project control systems.

During the 1990's the need for complete design-build services declined due to changing economic conditions. At the same time our consulting engineering service expanded into the international market. Today we have an established client base in Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. We provide a complete consulting engineering service and a full range of project management services from initial conceptual design through detailed engineering, construction management, and startup.
